ENEL At Power Plant of ENEL in Fusina a system operates since 1995 for the supervision and the control of air quality in the nearby of Fusina and Porto Marghera. It integrates the meteorological and chemical data surveyed by the Air Quality Monitoring Network of the Ente Zona Industriale di Porto Marghera with SODAR Doppler data (vertical profiles of wind speed and direction) and RASS data (vertical profiles of temperature). The monitoring system is integrated with a three-dimensional dynamic model that simulate the air pollutants dispersion. It is also connected with a local processing network by which acquires data about the plants’ functioning. Basing on this real time data system the plants’ staff receive instructions for the correct management of the chimneys’ emissions. |
