The data, collected by different Organizations, have been divided into four categories: Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Geosphere and Biosphere. The first three are organized so that they are accessible by: a. a clickable image map, which allows to extract different parameters concerning an area; b. the Source item, that specifies the organizations which supplied the data; c. the Parameters item, that shows the list of the available parameters. The data collected during campaigns organized for specific study or research projects are accessible by links from each category.
The Biosphere chapter includes two bibliographical archives and a catalogue of the organisms present in the lagoon environment.
The Metadata chapter collects all the necessary information to characterize the data (sampling methods, measurement instruments, position, coordinates and time of survey, etc.)
