16 participants attended - out of a total of about 30 applications - this 2012 Biogeodynamics and Earth System Sciences Summer School.

As usual, the participants took part in substantial group work on research topics related to the lectures and seminars given during the School. Even though time is relatively short, the groups have laid the foundation for further work to be subsequently completed by group members, in several cases likely leading to publishable results.
